Lawrence (Owen) Abad

Owen is a former Research Specialist that focused on manipulation of the phages that can be used to fight mycobacterial infections. His projects included lyophilization of phage, manipulation of phage genomes to improve mycobacterial killing, and computational evaluations of mycobacterial strain prophages. He was instrumental in the maintenance of Hatfull lab data analyses.

Owen received his BS at at University of Pittsburgh, 2020.
