Matt Delach
Matt is a research specialist responsible for screening the lab’s phage collection on isolates for susceptibility, and performing downstream assays to determine the degree of bacterial killing by phage candidates. He also explores host range mutants of phages that infect Mycobacterium xenopi and Mycobacterium abscessus strains and characterizes phage-resistant mutants of clinical isolates.
Matt received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024.
